Ceremony
In the church of the Convento de la Encarnación, next door to the convent and on the same street. Come a few minutes early so you can sit down without rushing.

The rest of the day
Drinks, lunch and the party at the convent, right next to the church. You walk across and the car stays where it is. We finish around 11 pm.
What to wear
Dress code: formal. Just bear in mind that it is a church wedding and it runs through the day.
- Women, please avoid white.
- Men, a suit and tie.
Indoors or outdoors
Both. The convent has gardens and a cloister as well as indoor rooms, and which ones get used depends on the weather that day. A 9 October in Madrid usually means a lovely middle of the day and a cold night, so bring something warm for once the sun goes down.
